Breeding Females

Each year we release a limited number of females.

Some girls will be proven breeders - you will be able to see their progeny as in most instances the females being released have replaced themselves with the next generation of daughters.

Other females will be related to top females who have underpinned the MillDuck coloured breeding program.

Females are priced taking into consideration their genetics, age, temperament, breeding history, conformation, fleece qualities, show record (if shown) and pregnancy status including time to birthing.

We are happy to put together package deals should you wish to purchase more than one female.

The purchase of a female, mated to one of our stud males is an excellent way to gain access to our genetics otherwise not available.
Our stud males are not available for outside matings.

All females will be sold with a:

A fertility guarantee up to a specified age
A live cria guarantee, if pregnant to one of our champion stud males – conditions apply.

Sire	Pentland Giorgio: Giorgio had a very successful show career winning 16 Broad Ribbons including Best Medium/Dark Fawn Male at the 2015 AAA National Show. Giorgio has produced many broad ribbon winning progeny - including MillDuck Titanium (won 16 Broad Ribbons) who MillDuck have retained as an "in-house" stud male.
Dam	Banksia Park Disco Rose: MillDuck purchased Disco Rose after she won Junior Medium/Dark Fawn Female at the 2011 AAA National Show. Disco Rose has produced some excellent broad ribbon winning cria including a coloured champion female at the AAA National Show.
Show Career	Stellar Performance has continued the showring success of her two parents placing every time shown. She was shown seven times to win Four Broad Ribbons being two Reserve Age Championships, one Age Championship and a Best Medium/Dark Fawn award. As a junior she placed 2nd in a class of 18 in the highly competitive medium/dark fawn female class at the 2015 National Show.
Fleece Stats	Stellar has great density, structure and very good length for age. 5th Fleece Stats: FD: 24.5 sd: 4.6 CV: 18.8 CF: 88.9
Progeny	Stellar has proven herself as a breeder having produced a brown male who won two Broad Ribbons prior to being sold as a Stud Male.
Pregnancy Status:	Stellar is currently open so you have the option to put a male of your choice over her. Another option is to mate her to one of the MillDuck Champion Coloured Stud Males which are currently not available for outside matings.
Additional Information	This girl is worth considering if you are after a proven "coloured" girl. Proven in the show ring and proven as a breeding female with - you guessed it - proven genetics in her pedigree.
