Show Results:
MillDuck Jarrah has an amazing show record - being placed everytime shown from a junior through to senior classes.  He has won 7 Broad Ribbons – both Best Brown and Age Championships.

Jarrah was 4th in the 2007 VCR Alpaca of the Year.

It is not surprising he has beaten whites and fawns - given his conformation, fleece stats, handle, excellent crimp, lustre and structure.

His sire, Wyterrica Rory needs little introduction having won Supreme Brown at 04 & 05 Colourbration Shows.  Jarrah’s dam was placed 3rd (25 in class) in the Junior Fawn Female class at the 2001 AAA National Show. Her genetics include Highlander & Inti!!

Whilst Jarrah has retired from showing to take up his “stud” duties, he is still winning in the show ring in Sire’s Progeny classes.

His 3rd placing in the Sire’s Progeny Class at the 2009 AAA National Show was a very special moment as we were up against some of the big “white” breeders.  Jarrah’s three coloured sons, Mercedes, Manhattan and Montague stood proudly not fully appreciating the significance of their third placing.

MillDuck Jarrah has gone on to win Sire’s Progeny at  Bendigo, Wodonga, AlpacaFest & Ballarat Shows.  It was all smiles when the same coloured team won Sire’s Progeny at the 2010 Sydney Royal Easter Show – beating 9 progeny teams from some of the big ‘white’ studs.

Jarrah’s Progeny in the Show Ring:
Jarrah has produced some exceptional progeny as evidenced by their performance in the show ring. His first group of coloured progeny have won numerous broad ribbons including Supreme Champion at Ballarat Sheep & Alpaca Show, along with Championships & Reserve Championships  in Age classes – beating whites.   His progeny have continued to dominate in Coloured Classes winning numerous Best of Colour Championships and Premier Colour Awards.

His brown daughter MillDuck Miss Marples has been placed everytime shown including 4th at the 2009 AAA National Show (19 in the class).

His three coloured sons Mercedes, Manhattan and Montague continue to impress the judges.

Montague has been placed everytime shown including 4th at the 2009 AAA Nationals where there were 17 in the class. Montague continues to be placed second to his half brother MillDuck Manhattan, as was the case at Sydney, AlpacaFest and Australian Sheep & Wool Show.

Manhattan continues to strut his stuff, with the ultimate winning SUPREME at the Ballarat Sheep & Alpaca Show.  This was an exceptional moment - to have our own coloured bloodlines beat the whites.   Manhattan has won a number of Broad Ribbons, both championships and reserves in age classes including Sydney Royal Easter Show and Alpacafest.  He has also won two Best Medium-Dark Fawn Championships.

Mercedes has been shown five times for two firsts, two seconds, Reserve Champion Junior Male and Best of Colour. Mercedes was moved to the brown class at Sydney where he won Intermediate Brown Male. Mercedes has also won Intermediate Brown Male at Alpacafest and the Ballarat Sheep & Alpaca Show.

MillDuck Maddox, a brown son of Jarrah’s, had his first outing at Alpacafest where he won the Junior Brown Male class,  Best Brown Male and the ultimate – Premier Brown.  Not bad for his first outing! He has gone on to win Champion Junior Male and Best Brown at the Ballarat Sheep & Alpaca Show.
