We are very serious about our breeding program at MillDuck. 

Whilst we have a clear vision of the type of animal and style of fleece we want to breed  – it is always good to test, through showing, how our breeding program measures up against other Alpaca Studs and the industry overall. 
  
We are encouraged by our consistent performance in white through to black classes under different judges. 

We love the fact that our coloured animals are winning championships – proving our coloured animals are as good and sometimes better, than the whites and fawns. 

Given our focus on breeding “top quality coloured alpacas”, we are proud of our numerous “Best Brown” and “Best Black” awards at a broad range of shows. 

Winning “Supreme Brown” and “Supreme Black”   at Colourbration Shows have been special moments - as has winning and consistently being placed in the top ten, of the Victorian Central Region’s “Alpaca of the Year” Award.

We don’t mean to skite, but we are happy with how others judge our breeding program.
